FSN Capital has signed an agreement to acquire a majority stake in Firesafe

Headquartered in Oslo, Norway, Firesafe is a leading fire safety services provider, covering installation, maintenance, controlling and advisory services within building fire protection.  

Firesafe employs more than 800 employees across Norway, Sweden, Denmark, and Finland. In 2021, the company generated net revenues of more than NOK 1 billion.  

Firesafe plays a key role in ensuring that commercial, public and residential properties are compliant with local fire regulations. This is an area of increasing importance in the Nordics, as older buildings are being renovated to comply with modern building safety requirements.  

The company acts as a one-stop-shop provider within fire safety services, with offerings including advisory, installation and service on existing fire protection solutions. Firesafe’s services cover both active fire protection systems, which are deployed to directly fight a fire and help people to safety, and passive fire protection systems, which help stop fires from spreading in a building. 

Firesafe CEO Morten Ameln, who has been the company’s sole shareholder since 2010, will reinvest along with FSN Capital to retain a material minority stake in the company.
