Werner has 30 years FMCG experience in Executive/General Management roles at Masterfoods, Intersnack and Bitburger Brewing Group across most countries in Western and Eastern Europe. He has a profound experience in the European food and drinks business, especially high margin snacking and impulse categories (chocolate, ice-cream, salty snacks), ICC channels, vending, front end distribution, route to market (DSD-systems) and category growth strategies; pioneer in Healthy Snack growth concepts, catering and hotel business. He implemented successful growth and turnaround strategies in Germany, France, Poland and UK.
Werner holds a MSc and a PhD in Psychology. He studied psychology at the University of Bonn and the University of Fribourg/CH, Economics at the University of Hagen
