Trond Williksen comes with more than 30 years of experience from executive positions in the national and international seafood industry. His latest operational assignments includes serving as CEO of SalMar ASA, a leading integrated salmon company (2016-2018) and CEO of AKVA group ASA, a leading technology and service provider to the global aquaculture industry (2011-2016). Prior to this he held positions as Executive Vice President in Aker ASA portfolio companies (2004-2011) including Aker Seafoods ASA and Aker Biomarine ASA.
Earlier on his career also rooms positions as Managing Director of the Norwegian Fishfarmers Association as well as being the head of KPMG Centre for Fisheries and Aquaculture.
Since the beginning of 2019 Trond Williksen has embarked on a career as a non-executive and his directorships includes being Chairman of the Board of the FSN portifolio company Mørenot, Chairman of the Board of Calanus AS, Chairman of the Board of the Oceans Portifolio at the Reseach Counsil of Norway, Chairman of the Board of Ivan Ulsund Rederi AS as well as board member of SinkabergHansen AS.
Trond Williksen holds an education within business administration from Norway and US, focused on strategy, finance and operational management. He graduated with an MBA from University of Washington, Foster School of Business in 1994.
