Norlandia Omsorg expands further by acquiring the majority stake in Achima, a temporary staffing agency providing healthcare personnel to Norwegian and Swedish public and private healthcare institutions. Norlandia Omsorg had revenues of approximately NOK 300 million last year. Since being established in 2001 Achima has grown rapidly and has a budget for 2007 of close to NOK 200 million.

The company acquired the Swedish personal assistance company Personlig Assistans i Sødra Sverige AB (PASSAB) earlier this year and is following a strategy of further growth within healthcare
“For Achima and our personnel this ownership change represents a new and exiting opportunity for further growth in cooperation with a large professional service provider,” says Tom Tidemann, Chairman of the Board of Achima.
“Achima has highly skilled and qualified personnel that patients in the different institutions benefit from. High quality services is also something Norlandia Omsorg focuses on in all our health and care services,” says Høisæter.
