The Nordic private equity fund, FSN Capital, has been named one of the best in Europe at the largest investor conference in Europe, Super Investor2010, in Paris. FSN Capital excelled in the category “The Rising Stars in Private Equity”.
A broad committee of professional investors highlighted FSN Capital as one of the private equity funds doing best during the financial crisis. Further more FSN Capital was identified as one of tomorrow’s champions.
“We are especially proud of the fact, that FSN Capital has been named by some of the world´s largest and most professional investors,” says FSN Capital partner, Thomas Broe-Andersen.
The awards took place in November in Paris where investors, private equity and venture capital companies for what is considered to be the largest and most important investor conference in Europe. Among the participants were the word’s biggest investment banks, investors and capital equity funds.
FSN Capital applies a systematic approach towards developments in the companies in which they invest, and according to Thomas Broe-Andersen this has paid off.
“We focus on developing the companies’ competitiveness, internationalization and profitability in close co-operation with management. At the same time, FSN Capital has a very conscious approach to risk, and investments in companies that are relatively independent of economic cycles keep dominating the portfolio,” says Thomas Broe-Andersen.
At the conference Frode Strand-Nielsen was invited as a panelist both for the award for the \”Rising Stars\” and on the theme of SRI in investments. SRI in investments means keeping a focus on environment, social responsibility and good corporate governance in their investments.
