FSN Capital announces team promotions and that it has appointed three new Executive Advisors
FSN Capital is pleased to announce it has promoted Erik Nelson and Ulrik Smith to Partners, whilst Patrice Jabet has been promoted to Director. In addition, FSN Capital has appointed three new Executive Advisors.
Mr. Nelson joined FSN Capital in 2005 from Deutsche Bank where he worked within Corporate Finance in London, UK. He also has experience from Ernst & Young, Oslo, Norway. Mr Nelson holds a MSc. in Business with Great Distinction from McGill University, Montreal, Canada and the Norwegian School of Management BI.
Mr. Smith joined FSN Capital in 2005 from Citigroup Inc. Chicago, USA. He also has experience from McKinsey & Company Inc. in Canada and Venturepark Incubator in Germany. Mr Smith holds a Bachelor in Economics and Management with Great Distinction from McGill University, Montreal, Canada and an MBA from the Harvard Business School.
Mr. Jabet joined the FSN Capital team in 2008. Prior to this, he worked in Lazard’s Nordic M&A advisory team in Stockholm. Previously, he worked with M&A advisory and private equity fundraising at Keystone Advisers. Mr. Jabet holds a M.Sc. in Industrial Management and Engineering from Lund Institute of Technology and a B.Sc. in Business and Economics from Lund University in Sweden.
Newly appointed Executive Advisors
Dag Opedal is former CEO of Orkla ASA, EVP of Norgesgruppen ASA, President of Ferd Capital and Managing Director of Stabburet AS.
He is currently Board member in Telenor ASA , Nammo AS and The Norwegian Church Aid.
Mr. Opedal was previously board member in Carlsberg , Jotun , REC and Sapa / Alcoa ( JV ).
Peter Giørtz-Carlsen has more than ten years Fast Moving Consumer Goods experience from Arla Foods Amba. He is currently Executive Vice President of Arla Food, responsible for Denmark.
Mr. Giørtz-Carlsen was previously Vice CEO for Bestseller Fashion Group in China, Managing Director of Cocio A/S and Managing Director of COCIO A/S
Jesper B. Jørgensen
Jesper B. Jørgensen has eight years’ experience within auditing, tax and business development from Arthur Andersen combined with 17 years FastMoving Consumer Goods experience from Carlsberg.
Since October 2011, he has been a member of the Group Management Committee at Knauf (building material supplier), responsible for Northern Europe
